May 21, 2012 - Wildwood Reining Horses has added two wee fillies to the herd! On May 7th, Wildwood Legacy Lace foaled out a beautiful bay filly and on May 20th, Wildwood Whisperin delivered a cute sorrel filly. Both fillies are sired by Walking With Wolves.

Legacy's filly is the first of a six generation of Wildwood mares and so is named Wildwood Perfect Six. The Dynasty began with Ma Dear (Duchess), a 1966 daughter of Pasamonte Paul out of a Classy Bar mare. I bought her in 1968 from Doug and Nancy Dear in Montana. Duchess produced Wildwood Mahogany, sired by my own stallion, Seco Top Moon (son of Top Moon). I then bred Mahogany to Solanos Peppy San for Wildwood Tamarac, the first reining mare of the line. In 1993, Tamarac produced Wildwood Destiny, sired by Podoco (son of Doc Bar) and, in 2003, Destiny foaled out Wildwood Legacy Lace, sired by Listo Pollito Lena. With little Perfect, the sixth generation of  "The Dynasty" is here.

Whisper's filly may be destined to be a cowhorse. Her brother, Wildwood Olena (formerly Wildwood Splash) is headed to Reno in the fall for the Snaffle Bit Futurity! Whisper is a trained reining horse, Canadian Supreme champion and NRHA money earner. This is only the second foal for Whisper.
