Ma Dear (Duchess) - foundation mare

    Born: April 10, 1966   Died: October 17, 2002

    Foals: Coteau Coquette, Coteau Cajun Pas, Wildwood Majesty, Wildwood Mahogany, High Class Sip, Wildwood Willow, Wildwood Hickory

 Duchess is the foundation mare of my broodmares and lived to the ripe old age of 36. Her last few years were spent happily in the company of her descendents. I did the video at right for her 35th birthday party.    It includes footage from Super 8 movie in 1968 as well as a number of stills used to create the story of her life. Click here for video.

Wildwood Mahogany - foundation mare

   Born: 1980        Died: January 9, 2004

   Foals: Wildwood Tamarac, Wildwood Tyson, Wildwood Boots, Wildwood Adobe Dunit

   I bought Mahogany back in 1999 after many years absence. She is sired by a stallion I owned for many years and of course is the daughter of my beloved Duchess.

I lost Tamarac November 2005 to a very rare form of skin cancer. She leaves a legacy of fine reining horses, several of which will be joining the brood mare band.
